Our Story
The company was formed in 1945 supplying bacon slicers, sausage mincers and confectionery machinery to local companies in and around Merseyside. Over the years, the company has grown dramatically and the team at Omori UK now supply high-quality equipment to the UK and Irish markets.
Originally known as Selo-Bollans Ltd., in 2022 the business was rebranded and became Omori UK Ltd., which continues to improve the Global branding of team Omori and is now an intrinsic part of the wider Omori family.
Omori UK Ltd. are backed by the technical and commercial acumen of The Omori Machinery Company of Japan, and work as a direct subsidiary of the wider Omori Europe group, headquartered in the Netherlands.
As part of the continued growth, in 2008 the company moved to a new 16,200-square-foot premise in Merseyside. This facility houses Omori UK’s Sales, Admin, Engineering and Service team. The extensive demonstration area allows customers to visit for trials, demonstrations and complete Pre Delivery Inspection on equipment/systems they have ordered.
The continued strategic growth allows Omori UK Ltd., to supply and support all of the major food, pharmaceutical and pet food manufacturers throughout the UK and Ireland.
